Abstract

This study aims to determine the trend towards the use of AI-powered wearable technologies in the learning and teaching process. The study, which involved a bibliometric analysis of documents published in the Scopus database, focused on determining the distribution of documents by year, the year with the most citations, the most productive countries, and the most frequently used keywords in the published documents. The results show that documents related to this field were first published in 2004, but the most productive year was 2015. The year with the most citations was identified as 2013, while the most productive country was the USA, and the country with the most citations was the UK. The most frequently used keywords in the published documents were determined to be "wearable technology" and "artificial intelligence". Researchers conducting research in this field are advised to consider the results of this study as a guiding resource.
